Trucks would not unnecessarily drive to waste bins that don’t need emptying. Time, effort, fuel and consequently money and our environment would be saved if only waste bins in need of emptying would be visited. And what’s more, by learning from patterns emerging from filling level sensors, extra waste bins can be foreseen in the places that need it the most. Say bye-bye to those heaps of empty bottles and jars next to waste bins filled to the brim.
